Don’t Bury Yourself in Mass Organizations

What could be the first taste for a freshman in university? As one of the differences between the senior high school and college, taking an active part in mass organizations is certain to be the right answer.

A mass organization is usually taken charge byupperclassmen, which means the organization has a lot of flexibility without teachers’ high pressure. There are all kinds of mass organizations: Future Manager Association, Moon-Fossil Drama Society, Rose Poetry Society, Paper-cut Association and so on, one of which is bound to suit you well. Once a man comes to a brand new place, he would have to make some new friends to fill in the blank of loneliness in the heart. At this time, the mass organization can exactly give a student what he wants, for not only can he meet with the friends who have common views and the same life directions, but also can have a stage to pick up more capacities and explore his potential. Under this circumstance, you may see the scene that many people run around the whole campus to apply for a couple of meaningful organizations.

However, it is because some freshmen have a variety of interests that they tend to engage in too many organizations, which requires freshmen to balance between the schedule for school work and interests, causing unexpected problems. So you may also see the scene that many students might use a series of reasons to quit these mass organizations from which they thought they could gain benefits after several weeks. Apart from this kind of group above, there is another group. The person in it never considers reaching out more to other people or even to the world, keeping a sedentary lifestyle in their dormitories. This behavior only leads to a loser gradually. Although different people have the right to own their different lives, a contemporary college student’s life can’t be in too extreme form.

Anyway, a tight but rich and independent schedule can partly help a student go anywhere close to his goal. From this aspect, one or two mass organizations are enough to cope with in daily life. As future leaders, college students are responsible for their lifestyles as well as the effects they have on our country.
