Each year there is a series of feasts of Freshman Welcome Party from November to December, and the party of the School of Foreign Languages is surely one among the best.

At 19:00, on November 23th, 2014, the Freshman Welcome Party of the School of Foreign Languages drew its curtain in the Auditorium with a capacity crowd cheering and applauding. Present as the honored guests were Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Ma Guojie, Office Administrator Zhu Yi, along with Counselors Cheng Jiliang, Xu Zhaomin, Feng Yanling, and Vice Counselor Qin Naichuan.

With pink balloons surrounding the stage, soft lights illuminated the hall and inspired music. Despite the heavy rain outside, the audience were looking forward to the show with great eagerness. As is known to all, the lovely girls are a special feature of the School of Foreign Languages, which has attracted crowds from other institutes. The various programs of the night ranged from folk dance to pop songs, including comedy sketch and prize draw. After hosts put out the welcome mat, there came the opening dance The Sky of College, along with a Jazz dance Hot Issues. There was no doubt that these girls in mini-skirts and bare-midriff tops were on fire and the sexy dance successfully caught people's attention. The overall effect was really fantastic and the crowed screamed in an ecstatic mood. As soon as the uproar passed, an amusing sketch School, Here I Am, performed by Guo Ran and Zheng Ziying came to audience's sight, which made students all burst into laughter. Then another Jazz group dance came with the name Red.

A few minutes after enjoying a funny game loop, the highest climax of the evening was coming--- a Japanese folk song Island, performed by foreigner teacher Hegang Dabu from Japan along with Japanese teacher Gui Yang. Before performing, Mr Hegan told a moving story about his students in Syria, and he gave his best wishes to them through this Japanese folk song. His gentle charming voice brought people back to those peaceful good time, on the beach, with the salty wind breezing, when there was no war, no blood. His singing hovered, like a whispered benediction, above the crowd. The evening was crowned by his dazzling performance, and many people spontaneously stood up and cheered. Students left messages on the microblog platform "Damn it! I will have even more rivals in love after tonight!''

The party continued with an award-wining dance---the waving dance of Tujia ethnic group and a comedy sketch Big City, Small Thing. Then a unique performance which used cups as instrument, Cups---When I'm Gone blew the audience's mind with a feeling of freshness. And the male and female vocals' cooperation was remarkable. And at 21:00, there came an impressive show performed by Youth Volunteers Association---a video of caring poor children was showed on the large screen. At the same time, the audience were made silent by these adorable children. Most excitingly, these lovely angels were invited to the stage singing nursery rhyme with Young Volunteers. Wave of loud scream never stopped, pushing the atmosphere into climax. After that, the show of class assistants No Dream No Youth drew its curtain with applauding and shouting of the students.

At 21:28, the Freshman Welcome Party of the School of Foreign Languages brought down its curtains perfectly.
