Welcome New Year’s Day on January 1st, a real beginning of 2015. At the day, people celebrated in various ways to hug a new round of a year, which not only exposed their high value on past time, but also showed their expectation to the future.

At the early evening of December 31st, 2014, there were already a lot of people standing by South Lake to put Kong Ming lanterns. The lanterns rose slowly, carrying with hopes and expectations of people and lighting up the dark. “I have thrown out my bad luck and the Kong Ming lanterns predict that I will have better changes in my life next year!” a girl said with big smile. Maybe that form seems not effective, but pretty cute. Sometimes, people also needed a positive gesture to encourage themselves. Apart from that, there was another group of people who managed to go back home and share their happiness of New Years with relatives, especially those people who didn’t see their parents for a long time. Actually, there was the third kind of people. They selectively neglected the festival only to bury themselves in textbooks and examination papers. They were called “learn to bully” by students. However, whatever forms you had chosen to welcome New Year, your life was going on, and the future was waiting to be written by yourself.

Every year would have its own specific things. Reflect on some hot issues in 2014: The Brazilian World Cup commenced again; Olympic Winter Games was held in Sochi; India completed its wide election; Airplane MH370 from Malaysia vaporized mysteriously in the bottom of sky; The “mustached girl” sang beautiful songs and had received a real popularity around Europe; Ebola burst out in western Africa… 2014 had witnessed so many memories. It was the time to say goodbye and plan for a brand new 2015. What would happen in 2015? No one knew.

“Life is a long way to go”, it is an old even vulgar saying, but illustrates the life’s length. We are all on the way.

Goodbye 2014.2015 will be better!
