With Chinese traditional culture accumulated over 2,500 years, we are changing the world with the identity as offspring of ancient Chinese saints. I like Confucianism, I admire Saint Kong-zi, and I enjoy reading Confucian scriptures. Even though the profound Confucian theory is beyond my capacity, I still cling to the idea of ‘the mean’ and regard it as my life principle. Similar to Confucianism, Taoism furthers the growth of our moral fibre and changes our thinking methods. The core theory of Taoism could be illustrated by daily trifles and events that balance between joys and sorrows makes our lives go smoothly and peacefully.
